About Daylan Sheppard
Daylan was raised in Las Vegas and did his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at the University of Utah. From there, he went to graduate school at Northwestern University where he completed my Ph.D in Chemistry with Prof. Will Dichtel. The research conducted was focused on methods to reprocess or upcycle cross-linked polyurethane using dynamic carbamate exchange. After graduate school, he obtained a position as a senior urethane synthesis chemist at Lubrizol. There, he works on developing synthetic and formulation work for thermoplastic polyurethane or TPU.
